Inspiring interior

Each is us is sometimes stricken by nostalgia, feeling of boredom. We strive for a change in our life by introducing something completely new, something optimistic. At times, it is enough to do something marginal which does not seem to be significant but it brightens up the world around.

The solution could be a flat interior change. The properly chosen colours, furniture and well-considered accessories can change much and they can sometimes even carry us to distant places.

Every person who likes the African sun and hot, desert sand can create very similar atmosphere in his flat. It is enough to introduce brown, gold or red tint into the living room. They can be put on the walls, furniture, roller blinds or carpets. Also you cannot forget about leather and wooden elements. Good idea would be putting wooden figures or earthenware crockery on furniture and windowsills as well as introducing some elements of African animals like stripes, spots.

For the enthusiasts of Asia, to be more precise India, the ideal solution would be intensive colours like red, green, violet, azure and orange. Instead of traditional curtains they can hang string or bead curtains. Bed can be covered with laced bedspread and huge, richly- decorated cushions. Indian atmosphere surely can be strengthened with candle light and lanterns as well as scent wafting from the incense. On the walls they can paint elephant or lotus flower pattern.

For those people who prefer simplicity and moderation to splendour and abundance Japan would be a good inspiration. Among colours which are predominant in this style are white and black, contrasting with each other, with some red motifs. Elements of bamboo, wood and paper are also crucial. Furniture should be low and it is advisable to put big cushions and mats on the floor. Finally, the interior can be brightened up thanks to potted plants such as bamboo tree.
