It is said that men resemble boys in many situations. They need only tasty food, bed, their favourite computer game or TV to be happy. However, it does not mean that they do not care about interior design of their flat.
Men, like women, like being surrounded by the things which make him feel good. However, the accessories chosen by women are completely different from those chosen by men. Therefore, it is quite easy to guess who lives in a flat looking only at its decoration. When the occupant is a woman - the subtle decoration is predominant. The examples can be airy net curtains, floral motifs, cushions, pictures on the walls and napkins.
Men rather tend to surround themselves with the elements connected with their interests. Therefore, he would hang the posters of his favourite sport club on the wall or the guitar. On the shelves he would put his model car collection and crucial part of the room surely would be occupied by home theatre and CD rack.
But male space does not mean only the gadgets. In spite of some prejudices men can select properly the colours of the walls, furniture or decoration. Mostly, they choose classic and fair tints of beige, yellow and green. Frequently, just to avoid the boredom and colour merging, they pick up more energetic colour like saturated red for some elements of the decoration.
Men use willingly roller blinds with the window arrangement. Properly chosen, they suit everything around and what is more, they are functional and practical. And it is what matters in man’s room most. There is no room for superfluous decoration.
Another important aspect is maintaining the order in the room full of gadgets and other treasures. For this reason there should be huge wardrobe which contains all the clothes and underwear. It would be also useful to have various boxes and containers of different size to keep some knick-knacks in there. All the souvenirs and collection elements should be kept behind the glass, in a showcase. In that way they will not get dusty so easily.
Room of every man is the reflection of his character and passions. Therefore, it should be arranged according to his fancies but at the same time in practical and functional way which can be achieved by means of simple solutions.

A proper insulation of standalone house is important for quiet and warm indoor atmosphere. Usually, the insulation is made on newly build building, but older houses are nowadays insulated to improve heating capabilities of walls. Insulating is simple process that do not demand high or specialist skills- only thing you need is time, walls and materials. Before laying an insulation, the wall should be clean and stable. That means necessity of removing all loose areas and dust from surface. Second step is priming the wall. Especially if the wall is already covered by plaster, the surface must be primed – it will improve stickiness and durability of glue that will stick plasterboards. Next step is laying the plasterboards – it is made of light Styrofoam, and sold in 10-board packets. Firstly put ca. 10 blobs of glue, size of an apple on board and starting from lower starting bar, press the board to the wall. The plasterboards will stick and keep on position by glue. Remember to keep horizon of boards. The glue dries about 2-3 days.

Then just think about the colors which should dominate in given space. After such preparation you can start to choose proper floors, furniture and accessories.
